Pastoral Council Vision Statement     Approved 9 August 2019
Our Lady of the Lake Parish is a Catholic faith community experiencing and sharing the grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ by serving full and part time residents and visitors as one family.
    * We are committed to grow in holiness and reverence for the Eucharist, the sacraments and the truths of the Catholic faith.
    * We are welcoming, friendly and faith filled, so that all can feel the presence of Christ as we gather lovingly in his name.    
    * We support education, outreach and service to all.

 

Purpose of the Financial Council
The purpose and objectives of the Financial Council shall be to act and serve in an advisory capacity to the director, parish operations in all matters pertaining to the financial affairs of the parish and to advise and assist in the management thereof.  The Council will help create an annual budget and long term capital budget, monitor and review expenses and provide financial advice to the director, parish operations on parish expenditures.   The Council will provide oversight on financial related processes and procedures to ensure all pertinent state and federal laws and diocese directives and guidelines are followed.

Purpose of the Pastoral Council
The purpose and objectives of the Pastoral Council shall be to act and serve in an advisory capacity to the director, parish operations in all matters pertaining to the spiritual, educational and physical affairs of the parish and to advise and assist in the operation and management thereof.

The Council would create a mission or vision statement for the parish and identify specific goals to promote the mission.  The Council would help identify the resources and steps required to achieve those goals.
